The international conference AIMS Meetingis organized by the Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon from 18 to 21 March 2021
It will be the first time that the conference takes place in digital format and the program offers lectures, debates and workshops by several internationally renowned speakers, among others Andrew Pelling, co-founder and scientific director of Spiderwort, a biotechnology company and the French biologist Jules Hoffmann, Nobel Prize in Medicine 2011.
This year, AIMS Meeting topics are about global threats to health (climate change, infectious diseases, lack of access to health care), neurosciences (memory processing, emotions, behavior) and advances in science, according to the organization
