In the ICCA ranking, released in May 2026, Lisbon hosted more than half of the 356 congresses held in Portugal, consolidating its position as a leading global stage for international association events in 2025.
From medicine to technology, and from science to innovation, the city attracted over 100,000 international participants and strengthened its economic, cultural, and strategic impact throughout the year.
