Everybody Walks!

In our days October 14 to 18, 2024, or ISCTE — University Institute of Lisbonreceive a 24th International Conference Walk21, organized by hair Institute of Mobility and Transport, with the support of Government of the Portuguese Republic,in partnership with Lisbon City Council, or ISCHT e a Walk21.

During this week, experts from all over Europe and the world gathered to share knowledge and experiences on how to develop and implement pedestrian mobility policies and programs that promote more active communities and safer streets. The conference also addressed the importance of pedestrian mobility for urban sustainability, accessibility and quality of life, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between cities and countries in the development of effective solutions for urban mobility.
