A “breath of fresh air” to the current panorama of respiratory diseases

Subordinate to the theme “Believe, empower, accompany”, as 7th Conference of the Respiratory Diseases Study Group, one of the working groups of Portuguese Association of General and Family Medicine,took place on October 21 and 22, 2021 at the PT Meeting Center, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.

In order to stimulate interprofessional cooperation in the area of respiratory medicine, the conference offered a forum for discussion and clinical practice on precautions in times of pandemic, smoking, asthma and other respiratory infections.

The commitment of the organizing committee resulted in an enriching program with workshops, important GRESP training milestone, symposia and free communication sessions. The interesting contents were delivered by doctors from MGFand other specialties. The speeches of the international speakers of Doktor Richard Beasley, Doktor Dave Singhe Doktor Richard Russellhave also added a broad perspective to the agenda items.

Finally, those who were not left out were the workshops, an important training milestone of the GRASPING, symposia and free communication sessions.
