FastTrack Cities 2021: the initiative for the elimination of urban epidemics

OFIL pavilion 1 opened doors, from 20 to 22 October, for an exchange of best practices on how to accelerate responses to HIV, TB and viral hepatitis, as well as to the covid-19 pandemic scenario.

Launched on World AIDS Day 2014 and already with a network of more than 350 countries, the initiative Fast Track Cities, organized by International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC), in partnership with Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), pledged to take further steps towards the Sustainable Development goal. As such, this edition also sought to celebrate the achievements and recognize the excellence among the cities, allies and sponsors by distributing nine conference awards.
