O World Federation of Hospital Sterilization Services (WFHSS)is the meeting point for national and regional non-profit sterilization societies, stimulating cooperation and the exchange of information and best practices.

O World Sterilization Congress 2011, happened in Portugal in Estoril Congress Centreand was one of the most successful ever, having had more than 900 participants from 48 countries around the world.

In the exhibition area with approximately 2.000m2, more than 40 companies were present in a demonstration of great representativeness of the sector.

O World Congress on Sterilizationtook place in Portugal at the initiative of National Sterilization Association(ANES).

ANES is a private non-profit association, established in December 1997, following the sterilization course of the European Sterilization Society, carried out at the former Institute of Computer and Financial Health Management and intended for nurses of the Sterilization Services.
